To guide our prevention work, the Coalition implements SAMHSA's (Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration) Strategic Prevention Framework.
Step 1: Community Needs Assessment
The Coalition collects data from multiple sources to inform the planning of prevention services.
Step 2: Capacity Building
The Coalition engages key stakeholders in Hillsdale County to insure sustainability of prevention services.
Step 3: Strategic Planning
The Coalition creates a strategic plan, based on documented needs, with measurable objectives.
Step 4: Implementation
Evidence-based programs are implemented, and data is collected to measure outcomes.
Step 5: Evaluation
The Coalition monitors the process, the effectiveness, and the sustainability of implemented programs.
